Creativity meets innovation in the new Insta360 × Bambu Lab MakerWorld Luna Ultra Design Challenge, inviting creators around the world to reimagine what's possible with Insta360 Luna Ultra.
As part of this collaboration, Insta360 and Bambu Lab MakerWorld are encouraging makers, designers, and creators to develop new accessories, mods, and creative concepts for Luna Ultra, Insta360's flagship dual-lens 8K gimbal camera. With over US$11,000 in prizes up for grabs, it's your chance to turn an idea into something the entire community can enjoy.
To help creators get started, Insta360 has released official 3MF and STL files for Luna Ultra, making it easier than ever to design accessories that fit the camera perfectly.
How to Join
Whether you're an experienced maker with a 3D printer or simply have a great idea you'd love to see come to life, there are two ways to take part in the Luna Ultra Design Challenge.
1. Model Design Challenge
Ready to build something amazing? The Model Design Challenge is your chance to create a custom accessory or mod that expands what's possible with Luna Ultra. From practical mounting solutions and protective gear to entirely new creative tools, we're looking for designs that are original, functional, and inspiring.
To enter:
- Design and 3D print an original accessory or mod for Luna Ultra.
- Submit your design on MakerWorld.
2. Social Content Challenge
No 3D printer? No problem!
Great ideas don't require specialized equipment. If you have a concept for a Luna Ultra accessory or mod, share it on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, or Reddit (r/Insta360), as an image, video, sketch, render, or written description, and tell us what makes your idea unique.
