From Tiny to Titanic: Insta360 Scores CES Awards for Two Groundbreaking Cameras

Insta360 today announced that two of its latest cameras have been honored with 2020 CES Innovation Awards. Both Insta360 GO, the world’s smallest stabilized camera and the not-so-small Insta360 Titan were honored, marking the fourth consecutive year of CES awards for the camera manufacturer.

Insta360’s winning cameras showed bold innovation in two starkly different categories. The tiny Insta360 GO is the company’s first non-360 camera, while the 11K Insta360 Titan brings VR cameras to a cinematic standard for the first time.

“Our mission to help people capture and share their lives brought us into all-new territory this year. GO brings our industry-leading stabilization to the most accessible device yet, while Titan makes high-end VR production more efficient than ever,”  said Max Richter, Insta360 Director of Marketing. “We’re thrilled to be honored this year and it spurs us on to bring even more to the table in 2020”.

Why They Won

Insta360 GO packs a lot into a twenty-gram device. When worn, it enables seamless, hands-free shooting, so creators can capture life without fumbling behind a display. With a magnetic body and a range of accessories, GO can be mounted just about anywhere.

The CES Innovation Award came alongside a major update to GO, bringing new features to the camera and reinforcing Insta360’s commitment to continually improving its products.

Insta360 Titan, on the other hand, is the most premium camera Insta360 has ever made. After five years of R&D and collaboration with the VR filmmaking community, the eight-lens colossus raises VR production to a cinematic standard. It combines ultra-high-quality imagery with an efficient, streamlined workflow.

The annual CES Innovation Awards are judged by a preeminent jury of independent industrial designers, engineers and members of the tech media. The Insta360 Titan and GO will be displayed at the Innovation Awards Showcase, as well as at Insta360’s booth, at CES 2020, which runs Jan. 7-10, 2020, in Las Vegas.
