(hereinafter referred to as "we") will provide you with voiceprint recognition functions (hereinafter referred to as "this function") in Insta360 Wave in accordance with this statement. This function is necessary for identifying speakers' information, providing you with more comprehensive voice recording and transcription services, and ensuring an intelligent, convenient, and complete voice recording and transcription experience. Before you use this function, please fully read and understand this statement. The key points have been highlighted in bold to remind you to read carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this statement, we will not be able to provide you with products and services related to voiceprint recognition. If you choose to agree to or enable this function at your discretion, you are deemed to have fully understood and agreed to accept the entire content of this statement.

Therefore, we will comply with the requirements of relevant laws and regulations and the "Insta360 Wave Privacy Policy", and take the necessary security protection measures to protect your personal information and user privacy.

I. Introduction to Voiceprint Recognition Functions

1. In order to distinguish different speakers who speak in the same space, so as to achieve voice recording and transcription functions that distinguish speakers, you can choose to enable the voiceprint recognition function. To this end, you need to agree that we collect, analyze and process your voiceprint information so that you can use the voice recording and transcription service that distinguishes speakers in the aforementioned scenarios (e.g., meeting scenarios).

2. If you refuse to provide voiceprint information, you cannot use the voice recording and transcription services, but this does not affect your use of other functions of Insta360 Wave.

3. To achieve this function, we need to collect your voice information. We will select some voice from your current recording to identify your voiceprint characteristics. You need to agree that we collect this voice information and extract your voiceprint characteristics through this voice information (recognizable voiceprint characteristics obtained through processing based on voiceprints and other characteristic technologies, hereinafter referred to as "voiceprint characteristics") as the basis for voiceprint recognition and comparison.

4. After enabling this function, when you communicate with others in the same space and have enabled the recording function and use the transcription function, we will match and verify the speech content with voiceprint characteristics to form voice records that distinguish different speakers.

5. We are always striving to improve the accuracy of voiceprint recognition capabilities. Since the collection of voiceprint information may be easily affected by various unspecified factors, such as the environment, recording conditions, and voice status, and the technical level and recognition methods are constantly upgrading and improving as well, please be aware that we cannot fully guarantee the accuracy of voiceprint recognition due to the technical limitations of the industry. If you find that the voiceprint recognition is not accurate, you can contact us through customer service (service@insta360.com) so that we can improve the service level of voiceprint recognition.

Please be aware that you are responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable data protection laws, including determining whether you are required to provide adequate notice to and obtain prior consent from the speakers regarding this feature, and the purposes, scope, and methods of personal information collection and processing associated with this feature. We are not responsible for your use of this feature or any related content. If you or any speakers captured in the recording refuse to provide the recording or do not consent to the processing of data for speaker differentiation, this feature will not be available. However, this will not affect your ability to use other functions of our products or services.

II. Storage and Deletion of Voiceprint Information

1. Please understand that when we collect and use the aforementioned information, voice and voiceprint characteristics are only used to achieve the function of identifying actual speakers in recording files. In addition, we will store voiceprint information only locally on the device to ensure the security of your personal information.

2. After you delete your recordings or unbind your device, we will delete your voiceprint characteristic information.

III. Supplementary Provisions

To further improve user experience, we will optimize these functions according to business needs. This statement may also be updated from time to time. We will notify you of the updated content through appropriate means, and the updated content will take effect from the date of publication. If you do not agree with the updated content, you have the right to stop using the relevant services.
