Insta360 is excited to announce our new, unsinkable surf camera accessory: the Floating Surfboard Mount.
For surfers who want epic footage without the fear of losing their camera, this is the ultimate solution. The Floating Surfboard Mount’s high-strength base can handle wipeouts like a pro, but the real magic? Its buoyancy. If your camera does get knocked loose, it will be safely floating nearby, ready for you to grab and go again.
The Floating Surfboard Mount is out now and retails for US$39.99.
Unsinkable mount, impossible shots.
Picture this: capturing every incredible wave you ride—without the stress of losing your gear. Those priceless moments (and endless wipeouts) are now safe and sound. The Floating Surfboard Mount has your back, making sure your camera stays with you, ride after ride.
A unique design.
Let's get technical for a moment and break down what makes the Floating Surfboard Mount such an effective surf camera accessory. It consists of three vital parts:
- Sticky Base - the high-strength, water-resistant 3M™ adhesive base sticks securely to the board and is designed to take the rough and tumble of the waves.
- Silicone Mount - sticks to the base and connects to the Tri-Float via ultra-strong 3M™ Dual Lock™ Reclosable Fasteners. This piece also includes the mount for your camera.
- Tri-Float - as promised, stops your camera from sinking to the bottom of the sea in case it becomes detached from the base.
Fit those together and this is what you get:
Is it easy to use?
Absolutely. Just make sure you mount the Sticky Base on your board according to the instructions, and it won't be going anywhere. After that, connect the Silicone Mount and Tri-Float, attach your camera, and away you go. A 1/4" Thumb Screw and 2-Prong to 1/4" Adapter are included in the box so it's compatible with your Insta360 X4, Insta360 Ace Pro, and more.
Available now.
The Floating Surfboard Mount is available to purchase worldwide via the Insta360 Official Store and retails for US$39.99.
