Tiny and Mighty: Insta360 GO 2 Wins iF Design Award

Insta360 GO 2 has been awarded one of the world’s most prestigious design awards, the iF DESIGN AWARD.

Insta360 GO 2 iF Design Award

GO 2 was honored in the camera category under the Product Design discipline. The action camera’s tiny form factor and flagship image quality won over a jury of 132 design experts.

Since its inception in 1953, the iF seal has signaled good design for consumers and the design community. A top international, independent group of design experts judged a record number of entries this year, totalling over 10,000 entries from over 57 nations.

Flagship image quality in a thumb-sized body

Insta360 GO 2 was designed to enable anyone to effortlessly capture their adventures from their own perspective. Weighing in at just 27 grams and no bigger than your thumb, it's the world’s smallest action camera. While most action cameras come with bulky accessories, GO 2 comes standard with a variety of lightweight magnetic mounts. Users can simply wear the camera on their chest or head and continue their adventures hands-free as if the camera isn’t even there.

Under the surface, flagship imaging hardware ensures the camera captures videos that look great on any social feed. A 1/2.3" image sensor, typically used in action cameras six times GO 2’s size, delivers crisp and detailed footage. FlowState stabilization keeps the video gimbal-smooth, whether the camera is mounted on a mountain bike or a dog. And to boot, it’s waterproof to 16 feet and comes with a lens guard to keep the camera protected throughout the action.
