1. Definitions Related to Gold

• Insta360 Gold: Insta360 Gold is a digital reward provided to you by Insta360; it is not a token or voucher of any kind. Gold can be used in the Insta360 Gold Store and for other value-added services or features on the Insta360 platform (as displayed on the platform).
• Automatically Acquired Gold: Gold automatically earned by completing designated Insta360 community tasks.
• Consumed Gold: Gold that has been spent or used on the Insta360 platform.

2. How to Acquire Gold

You can earn Gold by completing designated tasks. Insta360 encourages users to earn Insta360 Gold through a series of activities (see Appendix 1, "Insta360 Task Gold Details"). Insta360 reserves the right to adjust these tasks based on its operational strategies, and the information displayed on the Insta360 platform will always prevail.

You can also earn Gold by purchasing products on the official Insta360 Store:

Earn Gold on Purchases: Once your order is complete, you will receive Gold based on your actual payment amount. You earn 1 Gold for every $1 USD spent (or 1 Gold for every 7 CNY spent). No Gold will be issued if the converted order value is less than $0.01 USD. Gold is calculated based on the order's local currency converted to USD (rounded down).

Validation Period: To ensure transaction security and accommodate potential returns or exchanges, Gold earned from purchases will be credited to your account 14 calendar days after the order ships. If you initiate a return and refund, Insta360 reserves the right to deduct the corresponding Gold from your balance.

User Registration Status:

  Registered Users: The system will automatically identify and link the account used at checkout.

  Unregistered Users: If you check out as a guest, the system will keep a record of your order for 14 days. If you sign up using the same phone number or email address within those 14 days, your historical Gold will be automatically tracked and credited to your new account.

3. Uses of Gold

Gold can be used to redeem products or gifts in the Insta360 Gold Store. It can also be used for special, official Insta360 Gold events (such as lucky draws).

When shopping on the Insta360 Official Store, your Gold can be used to offset your order total. The actual deduction ratio will be displayed on the checkout page.

Eligible Products: Gold can be applied to all products available on the Insta360 Official Store, including cameras, accessories, and services (excluding special items like price-difference adjustment payments).

Deduction Limits: Gold can only be used to discount the product amount, excluding shipping fees and taxes. The maximum deduction is 20% of the total product value.

Stacking Discounts: Gold can be combined with promotional pricing and coupon codes.

Conversion Rate: 100 Gold equals $1 USD. This is converted into your order's local currency based on the real-time exchange rate at checkout, rounded down. If the converted local currency amount falls below the minimum payment unit (e.g., less than $0.01 for USD, or less than ¥1 for JPY, KRW, or TWD), Gold cannot be applied to that order.

Examples:

    Scenario A: If you have 8 Gold (equivalent to approx. $0.08 USD), and the amount converted to Euros and rounded down is €0.00 EUR, it does not meet the minimum usage threshold of €0.01 EUR. Therefore, Gold cannot be used for this order.

    Scenario B: If you have 100 Gold (equivalent to $1.00 USD) and convert it to Japanese Yen (assuming a 1:150 exchange rate), it equals ¥150 JPY. Since 150 ≥ ¥1 JPY, the discount can be applied normally.

Important Notes:

• Gold can only be used on the Insta360 official platform by the account that earned it.
• Gold has no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash, transferred, sold, inherited, pledged, or otherwise disposed of. It cannot be shared across different accounts. Insta360 reserves the right to penalize violations in accordance with these rules.
• Gold cannot be withdrawn or transferred.
• Gold may only be used in the country, region, or currency where it was earned, and cannot be transferred across different countries, regions, or currencies.

4. Gold Validity Period and Expiration Rules

For Gold automatically earned by completing designated tasks, regular Gold is valid for 365 days from the date it is acquired. Event Gold or other special Gold is subject to the rules of that specific event and will expire accordingly (see Appendix 1, "Community Task Gold Details").

Regular Gold automatically earned through tasks expires 365 days after acquisition and will be deducted on the 1st day of the following settlement month. For example: If User A earns 100 Gold on September 1, 2020, and does not use it, it will expire and be deducted on October 1, 2021. Event Gold expiration is dictated by the specific event's rules.

5. Gold Consumption Priority Order

When spending "automatically acquired Gold," Insta360 will prioritize deducting the Gold that is closest to its expiration date.

6. Gold Usage Code of Conduct

a. You must use Gold in a lawful and compliant manner. Gold must not be used for any purpose that violates laws, regulations, policies, this agreement, public order, or social morality. You must not interfere with the normal operation of the Insta360 platform, nor infringe upon the legitimate rights and interests of other users or third parties. You must also comply with any other documents binding upon you.

b. You may not trade Gold with other users or obtain Gold from third parties through purchasing, gifting, or any other means.

c. You must not engage in the following malicious behaviors on the Insta360 platform:

  i. Posting malicious comments or using uncivilized language.

   ii. Exploiting vulnerabilities to maliciously earn Gold (e.g., posting and immediately deleting the same content to earn daily posting Gold; posting off-topic content in theme challenges to earn Gold). Each person may only use one community account for Gold-related activities, and Gold cannot be transferred between accounts. If multiple community accounts are discovered belonging to one user, the relevant accounts will be deleted, and eligibility for physical reward redemption will be canceled.

  iii. Posting illegal, non-compliant, or inappropriate content (such as pornography or violence).

  iv. Reselling coupons obtained from Gold activities or the Gold Store in any form. v. Engaging in any other behaviors prohibited by laws and regulations.

7. Violation Handling

a. If you violate Article 6 of these Gold Rules, Insta360 reserves the right to penalize your non-compliant behavior according to the following provisions:

8. Miscellaneous

a. Insta360 reserves the right to unilaterally update these rules based on changes in laws, regulations, policies, industry norms, or business strategies. The updated rules will replace the original agreement 7 calendar days after the update is posted. Insta360 will notify you of these updates through appropriate channels (including but not limited to pop-ups, emails, in-site messages, system notifications, or website announcements) so you stay informed.

b. This agreement was updated on August 5, 2026, and became effective on August 14, 2026.
