Insta360 just opened our first flagship store outside of Asia, and it's right in the heart of Times Square. Located at 1515 Broadway, this isn't just another retail spot. It's a permanent home for the U.S. creator community, at the Crossroads of the World.
The launch comes right as Insta360 surpasses 10 million cameras shipped worldwide. According to industry data from IDC, Insta360 ranks No. 1 in the global 360 camera market, holding a shipment share of nearly 70% in Q1 of this year.
This NYC opening is part of a broader physical retail vision—following our Tokyo flagship launch in August, dozens of authorized stores across Asia, and upcoming European spots in cities like Munich.
A Permanent Home in New York City
Since entering the U.S. market in 2016, Insta360 has built incredible momentum and established clear leadership in the 360 camera space (supported by retail tracking data from Circana). Opening an owned flagship in Times Square is about taking that connection further—establishing a real physical footprint where creators can meet, collaborate, and test out gear.

"Reaching 10 million cameras shipped worldwide is a milestone we owe to our community, but opening in Times Square is about building lasting roots," said Max Richter, Co-founder and VP of Marketing at Insta360. "This store opening is about more than just selling into the U.S.; it reflects our long-term commitment to the American creator ecosystem. We look forward to continuing our support for local creators and connecting directly with everyday users. Our goal is simple: make innovative imaging tech approachable for anyone with a story to tell."
Hands-On Tech: From Online Clips to Real-World Creation
While viral social videos helped introduce Insta360 to the world, our Times Square flagship gives creators a hands-on space to experience the gear in person. The store is a full experience center with product trials, in-person workshops, technical support, and community gatherings.
Whether you're curious about 360 capture, action cams, gimbals, or wearable tech, you can test hardware side-by-side and learn how to get the most out of your setup.
"We are thrilled to welcome an innovative, industry-leading brand like Insta360 to the Crossroads of the World," said Tom Harris, President of the Times Square Alliance. "Times Square has always been a global stage for creativity, culture, and cutting-edge technology, making it the perfect home for Insta360's flagship store and a fantastic addition to our dynamic retail landscape."

Grand Opening Highlights
We kicked off launch day at 1515 Broadway with an action-packed celebration alongside our NYC community. Insta360 Co-founder Max Richter led the official ribbon-cutting alongside YouTube legend Casey Neistat.
Creators Jesse Wellens and Jen Smith joined as honorary store managers for the day, walking visitors through hands-on product demos and hanging out with local fans.
We also hosted our "Ride Bold" rally, sending 80 cyclists past iconic NYC landmarks with Insta360 cams mounted to capture every angle of the ride.
