Storage
Q1. What kind of Micro SD cards work properly with ONE X?
To consistently achieve the best results with your ONE X, you should use UHS-I Micro SD cards with a V30 or above speed class and exFAT format, or the shooting may stop and the footage may be damaged by the unmatched storage cards. In addition, the maximum storage the ONE X has been tested at is 256GB.

Note: UHS-II and UHS-III Micro SD/TF cards are not compatible with ONE X.

We recommend only purchasing name-brand microSD cards through official resellers.
The cards below have been tested to work well with ONE X.

The table above is theoretical, and the actual data will differ in different environments. It is recommended to check the remaining space before shooting, either on your ONE X or via the app.

Q3. What do I do if the indicator shows a flashing blue light with “NO SD Card” showing on the screen?
The flashing blue indicator and the error message means that the ONE X doesn’t recognize the card, so please refer to the steps below to troubleshoot:
1.Please refer to Q1 to make sure the card is UHS-I and V30 or above with exFAT format.
2.Please insert the card into the slot correctly.
3.If the card meets the requirement, and is inserted correctly, please backup files and refer to How do I format the SD card? to format the storage card.

Q4. What do I do if there is an error message of “SD card excp” when using the recommended card?
It means it is not exFAT format, please refer to How do I format the SD card? to format your SD card.

Q5. Does format have to be done via a wired connection to phone?
No, the formatting can be done in app via wireless connection or wired connection, or in standalone mode.

Q6. Must I use a storage card if I’m connected to my phone via wire?
Yes, the storage card has to be used when taking photos or videos. Only live-streaming doesn’t require storage card.

Q7. Why was the date changed to be the default? Is it possible to correct the file date to show 2018/1/1 in the album?
When the battery has been taken out or out of power for too long, the date of ONE X is set back to the factory default 2017.9.1 or 2018.1.1. When this happens, please charge the camera, then connect ONE X to your phone, and the date will be updated.
For files with the incorrect date, please connect ONE X with the card inside to a computer, and refer to the name format shown in the screenshot and set the file to the correct date, following the below format, after that, the files will be re-listed by the new date, however, the date in the property of the files cannot be changed.
